Time to update!

Hi, Team Julia! Sorry for the super long silence. It's been a busy time for Papi and Mommy. From the time we all prepared for our return to the Philippines, to adjusting to the local scene again (naks), to finding jobs, to the arrival of Lolo Dad Ted, his departure and arrival again, to Nanay Culing going to heaven, and to the arrival of Mamu Ditz and Thea about 2 months ago.

For the meantime, while Papi catches up with everything we have missed, click Julia Watch ver 2, a temporary site using tumblr for Julia's followers.

So far, we've missed Julia's 2nd birthday, Christmas in the USA, some weddings where she was flower girl, the summer of 09 and like what we mentioned, the arrival of Team Gonzales (USA, sans Ninang Mitz).

We'll try to cover all that and more right away. So be patient with us! The Julia Tour will be back really soon!

JULIA'S TURNS 2! Celebrates at Disneyland!

November 4, 2009 ANAHEIM, CA - After that nice party at Fresno, another birthday celebration awaits Julia. For the second time, we are back in Disneyland! It was Julia's exact birthday, so what better way to celebrate it than buy spending it with her favorite Disney characters. We had breakfast with Minnie, Eeyore, Captain Hook, Chip n Dale, Gepetto and Winnie the Pooh! Papi had a great time with his favorite meal of the day, with the Disney Characters visiting the table to serve food and have some pictures.

The day started with a little rain but that didnt stop Team Julia to troop to Disneyland to celebrate the Julia's birthday! When we arrived, the sun came out for the princess' big day! Speaking of princesses, Julia was greeted by the Snow White, Cinderella and Jasmine too!

Uncle Ian's birthday and advance party for Julia, too!

November 2, 2008 FRESNO, CA - Julia's Uncle Ian's birthday was coming up so we took a trip to celebrate it with him. Lolo Dad Ted, Papi, Mommy, Thea and Julia went to Fresno to visit Lolo Dad Tata, Mamu Belen and Ian. Julia's birthday was coming up, so they also prepared a party for her. Check out the pictures!

Julia's Halloween in the USA!

Julia had her first Halloween here in the US! It was an awesome weekend and Papi started it off by carving the small pumpkin Julia took at last week's pumpkin patch visit. He thought she'd freak out seeing him carve it to a jack o lantern, but she loved it!

The next day, Julia wore her Lady costume at Disneyland where she was noticed by the Disney characters - even when they were on parade!

Then she went trick or treating at Mamu Ditz' friend's place - the community was really wonderful for kids to dress up and get candies! She even played with the little dog there! It was fun to see the two dogs playing together!

Papi and Mommy got into the halloween act and dressed up as well! Papi wore a Batman mask (only) and Mommy got radical and became a rock n roll mom! The 3 of them went around the complex and the mall to get more candies. They finished the day by going to Barnes and Noble to get warm and have some coffee - it was really cold that night!

Julia goes to Disneyland!

ANAHEIM, CA - The long wait is over for Julia! She got to see Mickey Mouse and friends at Disneyland yesterday and she had the greatest time! Lolo Dad Ted and Mamu Ditz bought Papi, Mommy and Julia annual passes to the "happiest place on earth" - allowing Julia to see her favorite characters more than once. The next trip will be on her birthday - with a nice breakfast buffet to be served by none other than Chef Mickey!

It was Halloween time at Disneyland, so Julia had to wear something special for the event! She wore a nice dog costume (Lady from Lady and the tramp fame) and everyone who saw her enjoyed it. It even caused several Disney characters to stop by and greet Julia along the sidelines during their parade!

The best treat of them all were the big hugs and kisses given by Mickey and Minnie!

Julia visits a Pumpkin Patch

STA. CLARITA, CA - Ninong Marc and Ninang Margie brought Papi, Mommy and Julia to this nice pumpkin patch in Lombardi Ranch, Sta. Clarita - a week before all the pumpkins disappear for halloween! Julia was able to see a variety of pumpkins in different sizes, shapes and colors! She has been waiting for this for a while now and finally she gets to play and see pumpkins - we saw about 50,000 (even more!) there!

The Capirals also took us to a nice breakfast inn called Eggs Plantation. It has 101 ways to make omelette!

Julia goes to San Francisco!

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Team Julia (Papi, Mommy, Lolo Dad Ted, Mamu Ditz and Julia) made a mad rush to San Francisco last weekend. The family wanted to visit Lolo Bill and Lola Ninang Flor to catch up on things and just have fun! We lived in the area for a long time and it was nice to see the wonderful attractions of the city. And since it's Julia's first time in the city, and Mommy's first to see the Golden Gate Bridge, we trooped there for some picture taking.

At the same time, our good family friends the Luspos were in town and it was Mamu Ninang Mayet's birthday and it has been a while since Lolo Dad Ted and Mamu Ditz last saw her and Dad Van. Julia entertained them with her entire repertoire of songs - even sang with the magic mic!
