Sometimes we feel our lil Julia is not so lil anymore with the way she walks (huff and puff goes Mommy and Papi) and talk! Her vocabulary seems to grow each day, absorbing information like a sponge (you have to be careful with the things you say!). Here are some of the words she can say (or trying to say), so when you see her, try to chat with her!
1. Names: She can say Mommy, Papi (sometimes Papissss), Lolo Dad (one word at a time), Mamu, Ninan (Ninang), NooNoo (Ninong) Miss (Mitz) and Yeya (Thea) and Ajee (RG) and her name Julaaaaa!; as soon as she comes out of her room, she shouts, Cuhmehn! (for Nang Carmen) and her daughter Daaaay (Inday) and Cowing (Tita Coring); Team Julia names like Thethi (Cecil), Paymay (Ninang Playmate=Cecil), Joonsee (Jonsy), Kay (Kate), Kahlow (Karlo), Kik (Mic), Tiss (Migs), Dani, Shyasen (Justin) and Fafa (Rafa) and her favorites Pol (Paul), Buhbo (Bebo), Towtow (Mateo) ; her favorite celebrities Kaythee (KC Concepcion) and Ellun (Ellen); pet names Hunkee (donkey), Shaduw (Shadow), Cuton (Cotton) and Nikki (the mayna); she can recognize them all too as soon as she sees them!
2. Things and animals: Ehpleyn (airplane), her favorite fruit Nana (banana), Nyanya (milk), Cookis (cookies), Lawooo (flower), ball, home (home - when we arrive at the house), kerkol (circle), peetuton (belly button), bubble, jus (juice), kak (cerelac), koko (water), mon (moon, bisaya tatay eh), star, cat and dog, teecut (teapot), thyuth (shoes), poon (spoon), bins (vitamins), cook (book), buh (little kid) and baby
3. Expressions and action words (because of Papi and Mommy): ahsusss! (Ay, sus!), gulay (my gulay), sooree (sorry), gwabe (grabe), okaaay (ok), open, up, down, cowld (cold), hot, kok (walk) and Hi and Bye!; Poopoo (both No. 1 and 2); teks (thanks) and Awoo (I love you)
4. She can finish off songs and jingles of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse "howw", Johnny and the Sprites "spway", My friends, Tigger and Pooh "poooh", Dani and Daddy, Make way for Noddy, Itaktak Mo "mowww" (sorry, commercial jingle is really catchy), Wheel of Fortune"tortyun"
5. ThYetthh (Yes) and No - she says both words a lot!
